Monday marked the beginning of the 2023 season and practices are underway throughout Nassau County and all across New York State! Despite the shaky weather on Long Island the first few days, teams are reporting that players and coaches are feverishly working towards the beginning of scrimmages and games next week.

According to NYSPHSAA rules, all schools must complete six days of team practice before competition against other schools can take place. On Monday, March 20 the first game of the 2023 season in Nassau is taking place with Herricks High School traveling to Bethpage High School for a non-league affair.
