Plainview JFK Defeats Long Beach For the First Time in 27 Years!
Juniors Alex Kantrowitz and Nick Altmann each scored four goals to lead Plainview past Long Beach in non-league. Kantrowitz (pictured left) had an assist as well and junior Jake Ilardo made 20 saves for the Hawks, who had last beaten Long Beach in 1998. And more game reports.
Greci Saves 15 As Calhoun Holds Off The Golden Eagles
Junior Nick Greci made a career high 15 saves for to lead Calhoun past Bethpage in non-league and more games.
Spallina
Sophomore attackman Rocco Spallina scored nine goals to lead Massapequa and more games.

 BLAXEIGHT REPORT:  With a great effort by many of the coaches, we are pleased to open the new scholastic lacrosse website for Nassau County lacrosse. 


LOOKING BACK AT THE 2023 SEASON
2023 was a banner year for lacrosse in Nassau County with fifty-one teams competing with over 1,745 athletes on varsity rosters. There were 429 regular season games played and the 199 conference games determined the regular season champions. Farmingdale (Class A), Garden City (Class B), and Manhasset (Class C/D) each finished on top with 8-0 records in conference play. 
NYS Championship Streak Continues

 BLAXEIGHT REPORT:  With victories by three teams on June 11, 2021, Section VIII Boys Lacrosse continued an impressive streak of winning state championships that dates back to 2009. With wins by Garden City in Class B, Manhasset in Class C, and Cold Spring Harbor in Class D, Nassau has had a state champion in twelve consecutive seasons
