Thursday Games Are In!

Only four games were played on Thursday, March 30. The results are as follows:

Calhoun 18, Island Trees 10: Leading the scoring for Calhoun (3-0) was Jake Lewis (5g-3a), and the brother duo of Harley (3g-3a) and Jayden Finkelstein (3g-3a). A.J. Molinari added four goals for the Colts and Ryan Menghi won 19 of 25 faceoffs. Island Trees (2-1) was led by Nicholas Saragossi (3g-1a), John Echezuria with four assists and Kian McCoy with four goals.  [ BOX SCORE] 

Plainview JFK 8, Wheatley/Carle Place 2: In the second game of the First Annual Mineola Classic Tournament, Andrew Greenbaum led the Hawks with three goals. Dillon Josen and Josef Saueracker both added 2 goals for Plainview. Plainview goalie Sam Erlich made five saves for the win. The Hawks are now 3-1. [ BOX SCORE] 

Mineola 13, New Hyde Park 6: Tommy Renner scored 3 goals and had 3 assists in the first game of the First Annual Mineola Classic Tournament. Peter Irish added 3 goals and 2 assists and Eric Rosati made 10 saves in goal. Mineola will play Plainview JFK in the championship on Saturday at 4 PM. Leading the scoring for New Hyde Park (2-1) was Aidan Garvey (4g-1a), and Nicholas Rios (1g-2a). [ BOX SCORE] 

St. Dominic 5, Friends Academy 3: Leading the scoring for Friends Academy (2-1) was junior attackman Cooper Schultz with one goal and one assist. Sophomore Brett Cohen made nine saves in the non-league loss.  [ BOX SCORE]
