The Highlanders (8-3) won their fifth consecutive game by defeating Hicksville in Conference A. Senior attackman Tommy Gaudio, who had two goals and an assist, scored the game winner with two seconds left in the game. Troy Madden scored three goals and Gavin Lamere scored one goal and won 11 of 15 faceoffs for Herricks. The last remaining unbeaten team in Nassau fell today as Garden City defeated host Calhoun in Conference B play. The Trojans (9-2) used a dominant 6-1 third quarter to break open a close game and knock off the Colts (11-1). Nick Voll scored three goals in the loss for Calhoun.  [ BOX SCORE]
