Plainedge has won four in a row and has averaged 11 goals a game during the streak. Farmingdale is 5-5 and will be looking to find some consistent play before their showdown with Massapequa on Friday. Farmingdale has won all seven matchups between the neighboring schools, dating to 2004.
South Side at Syosset, Wednesday, April 30th, 5:00 pm
This is always one of the better games in Nassau each season. The two schools have played almost every season since 2008, with the Braves winning 11 of the 17 games played. The Cyclones, defending NYS Class B champs, have won the last three meetings.
Freeport at Baldwin, Thursday, May 1st, 5:00 pm
This year's contest between neighboring schools features two teams looking to continue to win games in League 3. Baldwin is 7-3 and Freeport is 7-2 and the Bruins lead the all-time series 43-30, dating back to 1961.
Farmingdale at Massapequa, Friday, May 2nd, 5:00 pm
One of the top rivalries in Nassau, Farmingdale leads the all-time series 41-31, but the Chiefs won 11 straight from 2012-2019. The Farmingdale defense will be tested by a strong Massapequa attack unit, featuring junior Tyler Byrnes and sophomores Nolan Wieczorek and Rocco Spallina (combined 102 points).
MacArthur at Lynbrook, Friday, May 2nd, 5:00 pm
Lynbrook has been dominant this year in League 2 and MacArthur is 4-1 in league games. Both teams have excellent goaltending, with Caden Cullen (MacArthur) and Luca Palleschi (Lynbrook) each in the top ten this season in save percentage in Nassau.
Manhasset at Garden City, Saturday, May 3rd, 5:00 pm
The greatest rivalry in scholastic lacrosse in the United States is renewed next Saturday at Garden City. Both teams appear to be the top dogs in Nassau Class B this season, and this outcome should solidify who will be the top seed in the upcoming Class B playoffs. The Trojans appear to have the edge with Luke Cascadden, one of the top faceoff men around (135 faceoff wins, 82% this season).
