About Massapequa: Top seeded Massapequa last won the A title in 2019, when they also claimed the NYS Class A crown. They are strong on attack with junior Tyler Byrnes (below right, 43 points) and sophomores Rocco Spallina (45 goals) and Nolan Wieczorek (60 points). Senior goaltender Michael Jannotte (214 saves) is one of Nassau's best and classmate Matthew Pettis, a two way midfielder, may be the Chiefs X-factor. Massapequa is 77-45 all-time in the playoffs.

About Hicksville: The Comets have a 1-2 punch offensively with Brendan Dalton (70 points) and Michael Gilbert (46 goals). Eighth-grade goalie Chris Suflay has made 185 saves for Hicksville, who won three Nassau titles in 1994, 1997 and 2009. Hicksville hasn't won a Class A playoff game since 2015 (0-5 since 2015).
#5 Oceanside (7-9) at #4 Syosset (8-8), 5:00 pm

All-Time: Syosset leads 27-26. Syosset has won 18 straight games dating back to 2006.
About Syosset: The Braves are led by junior attackman Brody Waxer who has 64 points this year and 208 in his career. Classmate Giovanni Accardo has added 41 points. The Braves have won at least one playoff game every year since 2006.

bout Oceanside: Senior defender Dylan Bender is a swiss army knife with 6 points, 48 ground balls, and 36 caused turnovers. Junior attackman Jack Passuello (left) leads the offense with 19 goals and 30 points. The Sailors last won a playoff game in 2008.
#7 Herricks (7-8) at #2 Farmingdale (9-7), 7:00 pm

All-Time: Farmingdale leads 21-14. The teams have never met in the playoffs.
About Farmingdale: The Dalers are the two-time defending champions. They have made the playoffs every year since 1974.
Senior attackman Dean Kott (right) leads the team with 30 goals and 25 assists. Junior LSM/D Mike Galgano has 3 points, 46 caused turnovers, and 69 ground balls.
About Herricks: The Highlanders feature two of the top scorers in Nassau in senior Troy Madden (below left, 99 points-#1 in Nassau) and Brayden Haase (64 goals-#2 in Nassau). Senior Mikey Mele has made 206 saves in goal for Herricks, who have qualified for the playoffs each of the past seven seasons.

All-Time: Port Washington leads 28-7. The Vikings have won 16 straight dating to 2006.
About Port Washington:
The Vikings are one of the top defensive teams on Long Island, allowing 4.8 goals per game and are led by sophomore goaltender Max Eynon (164 saves, 72% save percentage) and senior defender Harrison Behan (left). Senior attackman Liam McCarvill has been outstanding, scoring 41 goals this spring. Port Washington won the Class A title in 2022 and have been in the playoffs every year since 1979.
About Plainview JFK:
The Hawks last won a playoff game in 2006 but had an outstanding year in League 2, defeating six playoff teams in the process. They are led by juniors Alex Kantrowitz (53 goals, 82 points), Chris Tripoli (right, 67 points), Brett Lipins (213 faceoff wins, 10 goals), and Jake Ilardo (231 saves, 67% save percentage).
