Class A Quarterfinal Results

#3 Port Washington 20, #6 Plainview JFK 2
The Vikings defeated the #6 seed Hawks of Plainview JFK by scoring 11 unanswered goals in the second quarter. It was the 14th consecutive win for Port Washington, the #3 seed, over Plainview dating back to 2007. Port Washington wil play the winner of #2 Farmingdale and #7 Herricks in the Class A semifinals on Wednesday May 28th at Hofstra. [ BOX SCORE] 

#1 Massapequa 19, #8 Hicksville 3
Sophomore attackman Nolan Wieczorek had a goal and four assists to lead top seeded Massapequa past Hicksville in the Nassau Class A quarterfinals. Twelve different players scored for Massapequa, who advances to face Syosset in the semifinals on May 27th at Hofstra. Brendan Dalton scored all three goals for the eighth-seeded Comets, who finished the year 6-10.   [ BOX SCORE] 

#4 Syosset 11, #5 Oceanside 4
#4 Syosset improves to 9-8 with a 11-4 Class A quarterfinal victory over #5 Oceanside. The Braves advance to face Massapequa in the Class A semifinals next Tuesday at Hofstra. The Sailors, who received 15 saves from Sam Feldbaum, finished at 7-10.  [ BOX SCORE] 

***The game between #2 Farmingdale and #7 Herricks was postponed to tomorrow and will be played at Farmingdale High School at 6:00 pm***
