Class C Quarterfinal Results

#1 South Side 12, #8 North Shore 5
Cullen Lynch had three goals and three assists and Alec Notaro won 14 of 19 faceoffs to lead top-seeded South Side (13-4) past #8 North Shore in he Nassau Class C quarterfinals. South Side will play #4 Bethpage in the Class C semifinals on Tuesday, May 27th at Hofstra. North Shore finished the season at 7-9.   [ BOX SCORE] 

#2 Wantagh 15, #7 Island Trees 6
In a rematch of the Nassau Class C championship last year, #2 seeded Wantagh defeated #7 Island Trees to advance to the Nassau Class C semifinals. Devin Paccione led Wantagh with three goals and four assists, Carter Loughman and Luke Martini each scored four goals and Gianni Passaro made 13 saves for the Warriors (12-4). Wantagh led 11-1 at halfime and will play Plainedge in the semifinals on Wednesday at Hofstra. Anthony Saragossi made 17 saves for Island Trees, who finished 10-7.  [ BOX SCORE] 

#3 Plainedge 12, #6 Lynbrook 11
Brady Kelley (2g-4a) and Brian Keaveney (3g-3a) were the top scorers for #3 seeded Plainedge (8-9) in the Red Devils Class C quarterfinal victory over #6 seed Lynbrook. Gorman Devon won 17 of 26 faceoffs for Plainedge, who wil play Wantagh in the Class C semifinals on Wednesday, May 28th at Hofstra. Bennett Votano scored four goals and added an assist for Lynbrook, who finished the year 11-6.  [ BOX SCORE]
