Historical Notes: In the 50th anniversary of the rivalry between the two schools, senior attackman Scott Hiller scored six times and classmate Paul Basile had five assists for Garden City. Junior Andy Kraus won 25 of 30 faceoffs and scored three goals for the Trojans. He won 10 of 11 in the pivotal third quarter that saw Garden City outscore Manhasset 7-2 to take a 15-7 into the fourth quarter.
