Historical Notes: Uniondale ended Mineola's 27 game winning streak with excellent goaltending from game MVP Jim LoFrese and a goal and five assists from Jimmy Lewis. Bob Baron scored four first half goals to put the game out of reach for the Mustangs. Uniondale finished the season undefeated at 15-0.
