Monday: Roslyn Moves to 6-0

On Monday Roslyn squeezed by North Shore, 6-5, to remain undefeated at 6-0, while both Locust Valley and Island Trees won their fifth games of the season. 

Locust Valley 12,  Friends Academy 5: Philip Terrell scored three goals and added two assists for Locust Valley (5-2) in non-league. Owen Hickey added four goals and Charlie Dickman made 14 saves for the Falcons. Will Bystrom and Cooper Schultz both scored two goals for Friends Academy (3-2). [ BOX SCORE] 

Roslyn 6, North Shore 5: Roslyn (6-0) was led by Spencer Cymbler who scored five goals in non-league. Jacob Goldberg made 23 saves in goal for the Bulldogs. Matthew D'Aversa (2g-1a), and Cole Gibstein (1g-2a) were the high scorers for North Shore (4-4).     [ BOX SCORE] 

Bethpage 13, Oyster Bay 2: Bethpage improves to 3-4 with the win over the Baymen (3-2). Chris Lingen and Jake Macri scored the goals for Oyster Bay.  There was no report from Bethpage at post time. [ BOX SCORE] 

Island Trees 9, Floral Park 6: Leading the scoring for Island Trees (5-3) was John Echezuria (2g-1a), Kian McCoy (3g-0a), and Kevin Dromm (2g-0a). Luke Forde won 12 of 16 faceoffs for the Bulldogs. There was no report from Floral Park (3-5) at post-time.    [ BOX SCORE] 

Great Neck South 13, Lawrence 9: Peter Hlampeas (6g-3a), George Toumbekis (5g-4a), and Michael Azatyan (1g-3a) did the scoring damage for the Rebels (4-2). Robin Varughese made 11 saves in goal for GN South. Kody Kirchner totaled nine points (5g, 4a) and Dexter Robinson had seven (3g, 4a) for the Golden Tornadoes (3-6). Amari Elliott had a big game in the loss with 23 saves.  [ BOX SCORE] 

Lynbrook 11, Mineola 6: Leading the scoring for Mineola (4-4) was Jack McCormack with three goals and one assist. In goal for Mineola Eric Rosati made 16 saves, which raises his career total to 202.   There was no report from Lynbrook (4-3) at post-time.    [ BOX SCORE]
