Second seeded Massapequa fought off a strong performance from Port Washington to advance to the Nassau Class A championship game. They will face top seeded Syosset next Tuesday, June 2nd at Hofstra at 7:30 pm. Junior attackmen Nolan Wieczorek (1g,4a) and Rocco Spallina (4g, 1a) each had five points and Ryan Chabus won 16 of 22 faceoffs for the Chiefs (15-3). Spallina leads Nassau with 77 goals and has exactly 100 points for the season. Wieczorek now has 110 points by way of 49 goals and 61 assists.
