Historical Notes: Led by a stifling defense, Uniondale won its first lacrosse championship in school history by downing Garden City, 5-2, in the Metropolitan-Long Island Lacrosse League title game. The Knights added three extra-man goals and were led in scoring by sophomore attackman Jimmy Lewis who scored twice.
